As a Body Shop Valet/Detailer, you will contribute to a seamless repair experience by providing safe, courteous shuttle service and delivering high-quality vehicle detailing. This role is essential in maintaining customer satisfaction, ensuring both customer transportation and vehicle presentation meet our professional standards.
Essential Duties:
- Provide prompt and friendly transportation for customers to and from the dealership, ensuring safe and timely arrivals
- Maintain a professional demeanor with all customers, addressing any questions or concerns with respect and efficiency
- Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, destinations, and any incidents that occur
- Work closely with the Body Shop team to coordinate shuttle schedules and align with customer needs
- Clean and detail vehicles to dealership standards, including washing, waxing, polishing, and vacuuming interiors
- Conduct thorough inspections to confirm cleanliness and address areas needing further attention
- Maintain all detailing equipment and ensure adequate inventory of supplies
- Assist with the movement, organization, and preparation of vehicles, including parking and preparing vehicles for customer delivery
- Help manage vehicle inventory on the lot, ensuring it is organized and visually appealing
- Regularly inspect the shuttle vehicle for cleanliness and functionality, reporting any issues to the Body Shop Manager
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure the safety of passengers and other drivers on the road
- Adhere to all dealership safety and compliance standards during detailing and transportation activities
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions
- Demonstrated customer service skills with strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
- Detail-oriented with good judgment and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and support efficient Body Shop operations
