Service Advisor

Job details :

- Salary to be determined according to experience;
- Permanent position;
- Shift from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (8 hours a day), from Monday to Friday;
- During the summer season, the workshop is closed on Fridays at noon.

Description:

Alignement Maltais, established for more than 40 years, is looking for a dynamic, reliable person with good team spirit. Our priority is customer service. The main role of the technical advisor is to welcome the customer and ensure good communication throughout the work carried out, while making sure to explain mechanical terms to the customer.

Job duties:

- Greet customers warmly, obtain information about their vehicle and understand the customer's needs;
- Pass on the right information to shop technicians;
- Explain to customers the nature of the work to be performed and the related costs;
- Liaise between customers and technicians;
- Inform and advise customers on future vehicle maintenance;
- Order parts from our various suppliers;
- Open and close work orders;
- Invoice and explain final costs;
- Make appointments with customers directly in the workshop or by telephone;
- Perform all other related tasks.

Requirements:

- Customer service oriented;
- Listening skills;
- Organizational and planning skills;
- Autonomous and proactive;
- Ability to work as part of a team;
- Good knowledge of mechanics and experience in the field (an asset).
