Fortier Ford is looking for candidates to fill a Service Advisor position within our team.

Brief description of the position
You will be responsible for greeting customers and gathering the information required to identify and define the repair and maintenance needs of customers' vehicles. Provide maintenance services and schedule work to be performed while ensuring quality customer service.
Primary duties are listed below, but may be assigned to other duties.
Customer-related duties:
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival and obtain information about their car;
- Explain to customers the nature of the work performed and all related costs;
- Advise customers on the care of their vehicle and stress the importance of maintaining it according to the manufacturer's specifications;
- Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that customers are informed of any promotions or services offered by the dealership.
Miscellaneous Duties :
- Sell manufacturer prescribed maintenance services;
- Accurately describe problems with customers' vehicle on repair order;
- Take into account previous servicing, inspect the car and make recommendations for additional repairs required;
- Prepare a detailed and accurate estimate of the cost of labour and parts;
- Check on the progress of the work throughout the day. Communicates with customers regarding any changes to the estimate or turnaround time, explains costs and time involved in detail and obtains proper authorization before additional work is performed;
- Verify the extent of warranty coverage on the vehicle being repaired prior to commencing work;
- Review repair orders to ensure work is completed and additional repairs and authorization are recorded. Closes repair order according to standards;
- Perform other related duties as required.
Experience:
- 2 years of experience as a Service Advisor (Automotive);
- Valid driver's licence;
- Knowledge of SERTI software;
- Professional presentation.
