Job description
PROFILE:
- Experience in an automotive dealership.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sales Consultant and 1 year of experience as a Sales Supervisor in an automotive dealership.
SCHEDULE:
- Full-time - 5 days a week (Monday to Friday);
- Flexible schedule (minimum 40 hours per week).
CONDITIONS:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma;
- Certificate or diploma in automotive sales;
- Valid driver's licence;
- OMVIC permit.

TASKS:
- Supervise Sales Consultants in closing transactions;
- Ensure that Consultants follow up with their customers;
- Participate in the training of new sales advisors;
- Participate in identifying training needs for the sales team;
- Write progress reports for new Consultants;
- Support the Sales Manager in setting monthly objectives for consultants;
- Collaborate to improve achievement of objectives for consultants;
- Scheduling sales meetings with Sales Manager;
- Approve transactions as requested by supervisor;
- Perform administrative tasks upon request (advertising, inventory, etc.);
- Keep abreast of new products, programs and current promotions from manufacturers and/or banking institutions;
- Participate in the display of vehicles in the showroom and parking lot;
- Coordinate teamwork for snow removal;
- Substitute for Sales Manager during his absence;
- Advise, sell/lease new and used cars according to gross profit, volume and dealership customer satisfaction standards;
- Track customer loyalty and maintain development system;
- Understanding of federal, provincial and municipal laws governing retail automotive sales;
- Attend product and sales training as directed by sales;
- Keep abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc. and their benefits to customers;
- Attend sales team meetings;
- Present oneself in a professional manner.
