HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC UNDERGROUND - CLASS II

HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD 

Under the Mobile Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work in a safe, unique, and motivating environment. Your main duties will be: 
 

  • Manage the maintenance and repair of heavy and light equipment assigned to mining operations such as: bolters, jumbos, shuttle loaders, ANFO trucks and service vehicles.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and determine corrective actions to be taken.
  • Perform troubleshooting and routine repairs on equipment and components related to engines, transmissions, electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance, breakdown analysis, parts inspection and other related tasks related to the mechanical workshop.
  • Prioritizing and committed to health and safety according to Raglan Mine standards.


PROFILE REQUIRED 
 

  • Hold a Heavy Engines Mechanics vocational diploma or the equivalent, combined with five (5) years of experience in maintenance and repair of heavy and light equipment.
  • Have relevant experience with mobile equipment underground.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and general explosive permit.
  • Have completed the modular training for mining workers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 (asset).
