LOCATION: Dartmouth, NS (near Wright Ave. & Burnside Dr.)

WORK ENVIRONMENT: In-Shop

TYPE: Full-Time (Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week)

SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT: Work with a diverse range of specialized equipment, including vac trucks, hydro vacs, combo builds, street sweepers, trackless vehicles, and refuse and recycling trucks. From preventative maintenance to diagnostics and repairs, you'll be at the forefront of our operations.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
 

  • Licensed Mechanic or Technician (Red Seal preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience as a Licensed Mechanic.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean abstract.
  • Skilled in hydraulic and/or electrical work.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

  • Perform troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, and pre-delivery inspections on a variety of heavy equipment.
  • Conduct timely and effective repairs, collaborating with the Service Writer and Parts team for optimal efficiency.
  • Carry out regular preventative maintenance tasks and inspections.
  • Communicate job progress and status changes with the Lead Hand and/or Service Manager.
  • Maintain an organized and safe work area and shop tools.

SAFETY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
