Accounting Clerk

We are currently looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team at our Western Toyota dealership. The accounting clerk will assist with accounts payable/receivable and input/review monthly accounting data for our dealerships according to established procedures. 

Job Duties:
 

• Daily bank deposit
• Reconciliation of bank accounts and inter-company accounts
• Reconciliation and maintenance of various GL accounts; identifying, resolving and correcting discrepancies and errors
• Preparation of Government remittances and filings
• Maintenance of various financial schedules and sub-ledgers
• Preparation and posting of manual journal entries
• Assisting with monthly and yearly close as required
• Identifying continuous improvement opportunities and collaborating to implement solutions
• Other duties as required

Requirements:
 

• Post-secondary diploma in accounting
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and oral interaction)
