What you'll be doing:

 

  • Serving guests efficiently to ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnoses as outlined on repair orders and review vehicle status with service and/or parts advisors.
  • Safely and accurately diagnose and report on vehicle conditions and concerns.
  • Make appropriate recommendations for maintenance and repair of vehicles in accordance with individual vehicle guidelines.
  • Document and record all findings accurately to company and Manufacturer standards and communicate results accurately via electronic methods and verbally as needed.
  • Road testing vehicle as required to identify concerns and ensure quality control.
  • Remain update to date on product knowledge, manufacturer updates, bulletins and recalls, and technical training.
  • Maintain a clean, presentable, and safe working area in line with company standards.
  • Maintain efficiency standards in accordance with company policies.


What we need from you:
 

  • Must have valid Red Seal Technician status.
  • Prior history and knowledge with Toyota vehicles is considered an asset.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be capable of dead lifting a minimum 50 lbs.
  • Have a valid British Columbia driver's license.
  • Be capable of driving manual transmission vehicles.
  • Follow all required processes and procedures outlined within the Toyota Warranty Policies and Procedures Manual in relation to duties performed as a technician.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures as required in the operation of the Fixed Operations Department.
  • Be committed to consistently delivering the highest quality of customer service.
