KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Provide a variety of administrative and/or technical services to support the business which may include: preparing reports, memos, and documents; sorting/collating/filing documents;
  • Develop spreadsheets, forms, and databases to input, track, store and retrieve data
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date fleet management records and reports, including vehicle inventory, maintenance schedules, and fuel usage.
  • Responsible for tracking vendors KPI's, surveys, and scorecards to track performance against contracts and service agreements.
  • Ensure Fleet and Equipment is managed, cost, and tracked through associated systems.
  • Help produce daily/weekly/monthly operational documentation and reports, as assigned
  • Monitor fleet performance and identify opportunities to reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve overall efficiency
  • Recommend improvements to existing processes and procedures to achieve greater efficiency
  • Responsible for workforce management database support in the development of automated solutions to facilitate ongoing reporting.
  • Develop presentation views of budget vs. actual and capacity plan scenarios of fleet
  • Administer and supervise the collection of information supporting Operating budget processes or ongoing monthly reporting and communicate progress and issues impacting the deliverables.
  • Assist with other departmental requests as required and performs special projects as assigned.

  • To support Cogeco's ultimate goal of providing excellent service to current and potential customers, the incumbent must be constantly attentive and responsive to both external and internal customers' needs and assist in the resolution of any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner while ensuring that the solution meets the customer's needs.

  • Must be detail oriented with demonstrated analytical skills and experience in preparing complex business cases.


SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

 

  • Someone who can visualize and action the bigger picture aligned with the business goals.
  • English and French Required
  • The ability to use spreadsheet and presentation applications using Google Suite or other collaborative tools is a requirement.
  • Database knowledge and navigation (creating complex queries, extraction of data, etc.) an assets.
  • Knowledge of workflow process documentation and analysis.
  • Detail-oriented (accurate and thorough) with superior organizational and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with a winning customer service attitude and professional demeanor. Ability to communicate with a high degree of tact and diplomacy.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to take the initiative to identify and resolve problems independently.
