Job description

Our Volvo Cars Villadealership is looking for a Deals Clerk to join our amazing team! 

Job Purpose

The Deals Administrator posts all New and Pre-Owned car deals for the dealership. This position also performs accounting-related tasks utilizing knowledge of the entire accounting cycle. 

Responsibilities 

 

  • Reporting to General Manager and Controller
  • Process, Post and file both new and used sales deal files.
  • Perform various reconciliations and remittance including: factory payables, and factory and vehicle receivables, commission payables, customer deposits, contracts in transit, as well as New, Pre-owned and demo inventory.
  • Working with Controller, Prepare bi-weekly Sales Commission and send to payroll.
  • Verify cash received for vehicle sales whether any amounts owing.
  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the dealership
  • Monitor inventory levels and product movement.
  • Compile reports and participate in special projects, on request.
  • Perform other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions.
  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the dealership.
  • Maximize space utilization as defined by operating KPIs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and product movement.
  • Responsible for facilitating efficient order fulfillment, and contributing to a safe and orderly working environment.
  • Accuracy of all paperwork produced.
  • Assist supervision/management as needed.
  • Follow company policies, guidelines and work instructions.


Qualifications 
 

  • Previous experience in a dealership sales environment.
  • Capable on One Eighty / CDK, familiar MS Office software.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills. Both written and verbal.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
