Dimensional Engineer

The Dimensional Engineer will be based at our Windsor Assembly Plant in Windsor, Ontario and responsibilities will include: solving root cause analysis and correction of dimensional quality issues; leading skilled trades personnel to perform measurement work, Kaizen's and root cause analysis; proactively lead variation reduction efforts and collaborate with manufacturing production, supplier base, skilled trades and engineering quality to accomplish departmental goals.

Basic Qualifications : 
 

• Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum THREE (3) years of experience within the area of dimensional measurement / Body-In-White automated tooling, DFSS, Six Sigma training & CMM knowledge an asset
• Experience with Geometric Dimensional & Tolerancing
• Advanced knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint applications
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal along with the ability to work with all level of management
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
