Steele Halifax Chrysler is seeking aParts Advisor to join our team!

As a Parts Advisor at Steele Halifax Chrysler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the parts department. Your responsibilities will include direct interaction with customers, suppliers, and technicians, offering information, service, and utilizing the online parts catalogue to source required components.

Hourly Wage Range: $18.55 - $21.30

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

• Accurately and promptly order parts required for vehicle repairs, ensuring timely delivery to meet customer service and repair timelines.
• Receive and process parts orders with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring the correct parts are delivered to the service department without delays or discrepancies.
• Collaborate closely with technicians and the service department, providing updates on parts availability, delivery schedules, and ensuring seamless coordination for vehicle repairs.
• Cultivate and maintain strong, professional relationships with suppliers while fostering mutually beneficial partnerships to optimize supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory records, conducting regular stock checks, assisting with reordering processes, and ensuring parts availability aligns with business demands.

Requirements:

 

• Previous experience in the automotive industry is advantageous but not required. A willingness to learn and adapt quickly to the dealership's specific parts processes will be essential.
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service with a professional and friendly demeanor, ensuring all customer inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively, both in-person and over the phone.
• Demonstrate fluency in Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications, utilizing them to manage parts orders, communicate with team members, and track inventory.
• Maintain a positive and proactive approach to all tasks, contributing to a collaborative and efficient team environment. Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to achieving high standards in all aspects of the role.
• Show a strong desire to expand knowledge within the automotive parts industry.
