Pay Details
- Starting pays: $37.44 to start plus shift premium based on 310T Red seal and experience
Schedule
- 4pm to 12:30 am Monday to Friday .
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
Job Details
- Completes necessary repair and preventive maintenance work.
- Checks safety equipment on truck and/or trailers.
- Inspects trucks and/or equipment, for condition, operation, parts and fluid levels.
- Identifies and designates problems.
- Performs adjustments to various systems during preventive maintenance service.
- Make emergency roadside repairs; at times after-hours; carry, monitor and answer company issued cellphone for after hour service calls.
- Write service reports that accurately document activities and parts used from truck inventory.
- Perform assigned tasks in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.
- Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
- Respectfully takes direction from supervisor/ manager.
- Perform PM's and inspections.
- Maintain a safe working environment and observe all safety procedures, laws, policies and rules.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Red Seal Certified Technician either 310T/310J being an active member in good standing with Skilled Trades Ontario.
- CVIP Certification is an asset.
- Two years verifiable mechanic experience.
- Operation of hand and air tools.
- Ability to do mobile mechanical repairs in a timely manner.
