Service Advisor

In support of our Service Manager, we are looking for someone who has several years of experience in the service department of a mechanical workshop. We believe the candidate must have experience as a Shop Foreman, Mechanic or Service Advisor to accomplish the objectives of the position.

Duties may vary depending on the candidate's strengths and experience. The goal is to work with the Manager to create an efficient and effective team to support the department's growth. But as a basic outline, here are the tasks to be accomplished:

- Distributing the work in the workshop;
- Verifying the work in progress;
- Following-up on the productivity and efficiency of 12 Technicians;
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and following-up on CSI;
- Ensuring that work orders are done according to the manufacturer's standards;
- Replacing the Manager during absences.

The candidate must be a good communicator and show leadership. The jobholder must work in a safe manner and promote this way of working.

Knowledge of Serti software and experience in a GM dealership are definite assets.
