As the Manager of Business Transformation, you'll help drive operational results by identifying opportunities and implementing fundamental changes to business processes. This will be done by leveraging your skills in Operational Excellence, Project Management, Change Management and Lean ensuring we remain the undisputed leader in roadside assistance and driver education.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
 

  • Report to the Associate Vice President, Automotive.
  • Lead a team of Business Process Analysts and Product Managers
  • Lead Automotive Services and Driver Education in developing and implementing the Association's Omni Wheel Strategy.
  • Act as the liaison for Automotive Services with IT, Analytics, and OMNI Implementation teams to implement new technology opportunities and ensure business needs are met.
  • Lead the development and implementation of Automotive Services and Driver Education Strategic Plan including:
    • Monitor and assess competitive activity and develop competitive responses to ensure AMA continues to be the undisputed leader in roadside assistance and driver education in Alberta.
    • Work closely with Operations Leadership to implement operational changes that deliver better member experiences and improved operational efficiency.
    • Enhance the Personal Mobility spoke and champion strategic initiatives focused on improving service delivery during long wait times and alternative options for members.
    • Champion the implementation and growth of strategic initiatives across the business lines.
  • Lead and implement cost containment initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Automotive Services and Driver Education leadership teams to address issues and improve service to members.
  • Optimize operational resources and provide recommendations for strategic and operational plans.
  • Track, evaluate, and report on budget expenditures.


WHAT YOU'VE DONE
 

  • You've got a post-secondary education in business administration or related discipline, and/or equivalent industry experience.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in leading teams.
  • Bonus points if you have a Lean Six Sigma green or black belt.
  • Your analytical skills balanced with your organizational leadership ability make you a perfect candidate for this role.
  • You have experience in operations, analysis, planning and process improvement and you enjoy managing multiple portfolios with their specific priorities.
  • You have experience with performance management (goal setting, measuring, monitoring and execution skills).
  • You've proven that you know how to get high-quality results and foster positive relationships with various stakeholders.
  • You have good computer skills and are comfortable learning new applications and systems.
