Work Arrangement:
This position is classified as a Hybrid position, meaning the successful candidate will work at our Markham office three (3) days per week.
The Role:
ADAS CG validation team supports the infrastructure validation testing of ADAS controllers in the domains of Serial Communication, Diagnostics, Cybersecurity and OTA. In addition, the team also performs DVUL testing per System Safety requirements. Testing can be conducted on open loop, close loop HIL benches or SIL platform. Test automation is continuously updated to ensure comprehensive coverage of smoke and sanity testing. The role requires the ability to work independently/cross-functionally, troubleshoot issues related to bench/tool/software, and efficiently report any issue for timely resolution. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to grow and develop career by working with domain experts and test automation team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct CG testing manually and troubleshoot test failures
- Raise Jira bugs and/or PRTS issues when test results not meeting CG requirements
- Provide feedback to inappropriate or unclear CG requirements and documents
- Develop & maintain test automation scripts as required
- Schedule test automation runs and screen test results
- Work collaboratively with SME and cross functional software / tool teams
- Conduct CG testing peer review and contribute to CG best practice/checklist enhancement
- Champion Ideation/Innovation workshop within the team
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent experience
- 3+ year embedded controller testing experience with either open loop benches or close loop benches
- Prior software experience in Python with exposure to bash and Jenkins automation
- Knowledge of SW version control tools & repositories like GIT and GitHub
- Knowledge of serial data communications, diagnostics, cybersecurity, OTA and reprogramming for ADAS controllers
- Knowledge of calibration/MAC/ARXML/ODX and their impact in infrastructure validation testing
- Experience with CAN/Ethernet communication protocols + automotive Diagnostic services
- Experience with test tools such as CANoe, Vehicle Spy, INCA, AutoVAL
- Exposure to the Adaptive AUTOSAR service-based vehicle platform
- Experience in a fast-moving environment and capable of meeting stringent deadlines
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform test automation
- Must be legally allowed to work in Canada and be able to travel to the US
- Must have a valid Canadian driver's license
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Understanding of major automotive vehicle systems such as Advanced Driver-Assistance (ADAS), Software Defined Vehicle(SDV),Motion Control, Automotive Network, and Powertrain
- Experience with Linux or QNX OS/file system
- Experience with CAPL scripting, C/C++ coding
- Experience in Robot test automation framework
- Exposure to CI/CD development methodologies
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum operation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
