The Role

We are currently looking for you to take on the role of Production Control Analyst role based out of our CAMI Vehicle Assembly Plant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to positively influence our Organizational Culture by modelling a commitment to GM's Cultural Behaviors in driving toward and achieving desired business results. You will support Production and Schedule systems across multiple departments and serves as a resource supporting Production, Launch and pilot activities. 

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
 

  • Manage Vehicle Production order line-up to ensure Model Mix restraints are met and Production build requirements are in place.
  • Responsible for tracking, printing, and quality of vehicle regulatory labels - VIN, Price, Cert, Emissions, Tires meeting GM & Legal requirements
  • Update the vehicle build information (Build History for Warranty / Recalls)
  • Maintain Master Scheduling systems and tracking.
  • Maintain and update Production Build Sheets and data.
  • Support Production to ensure correct trace data is collected for warranty records.
  • Responsible to activate active Part number changes to ensure accurate part inventory and part coordination related to upstream processes or data files.
  • Manage Global Supply Chain systems and access as required.
  • Support and development of local Global Supply Chain systems and software as required.
  • Update and maintain e-label visual management supporting the production floor.
  • GEPICs support and base knowledge with MGO interaction as required

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
 

  • Strong abilities in data manipulation via creation of database(s), application of data in Power BI, creation of functional dashboards.
  • Ability to independently design and create data manipulation solutions.
  • Experience working with IT Systems and applications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated adaptability to varying work hours, including overtime and ability to work across all shifts as needed.


What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
 

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field.
  • Previous experience in production control or similar role
  • GEPICs / MGO working knowledge/Database and Programming ability.
