The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Lead Fleet Vehicle Coordinator to join our team in Coquitlam, BC. As the Lead Fleet Vehicle Coordinator, you will act as a liaison between our dealerships, leasing companies, and vendors.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Lead Fleet Vehicle Coordinator your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Process the purchase, transfer, and disposal of company vehicles, including lease and purchase documents
  • Ensure compliance of company vehicles with all insurance, registration, and company safety regulations
  • Sort and code a high volume of vehicle-related invoices
  • Compare and source vendors and conduct regular meetings with key vendors
  • Lead monthly vehicle fleet meeting with senior management team
  • Complete and analyze monthly costs, inspections, and fuel and maintenance reports
  • Manage the automobile taxable benefit program, including coordinating with the leasing company to register drivers and reviewing taxable benefits lists for any discrepancies
  • Manage GPS data of company vehicles and equipment, train and support users on GPS systems
  • Review data to analyze vehicle performance, brand popularity, and specifications


Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

 

  • Previous fleet management experience is a strong asset
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business administration, is an asset
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability
  • A customer service mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to think analytically, solve problems, and identify solutions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

The base pay range for this role is: $58,000 to $72,000 per year, depending on experience.

This is a hybrid role based in Coquitlam, BC. Please note that after training is complete, work can be performed from home two days per week.
