Summary:

CSN Keizer's currently requires the services of an experienced Bodyshop Production Manager. This is a full-time position working in a team environment. The perfect candidate will be passionate about all aspects of team leadership, be very reliable, organized and possess effective communication skills. The willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment is necessary. A positive attitude and professional appearance must be maintained at all times as an ambassador for the company.

The Production Manager is responsible for the processing of daily body shop throughput and quality of work, by effectively managing the production team in both the Collision Repair and Painting aspects.

Primary Objectives of the Role:
 

  • Maintain the company's standards for ethical business practices, professional image, orderliness, customer service and good employee and community relations.
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, to facilitate accurate timely updates to customers
  • Responsible for overseeing the technician working on customers' vehicle including their time management/efficiency, parts ordering, job completion times.
  • Oversee and participate in quality control.
  • Participate in the development and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures as appropriate.
  • Have the knowledge of auto body collision repair and refinish requirements.
  • Understand individual technician abilities and training levels
  • Use above knowledge to assign work effectively and identify training requirements.
  • Use leadership abilities to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Work with CSR and Shop Manager to set scheduling and hiring requirements.
  • Assist repair planner as necessary to ensure a smooth collision repair process.
  • Manage quality control of all vehicles being repaired.
  • Assist other management staff with tasks as requested.


Requirements
 

  • Minimum 5 years auto body experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in leadership position
  • Ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient use of computers
  • Valid driver's license
