Job description
Under the Service Manager's supervision, the Service Advisor greets customers and gathers the required information in order to identify and define the repair and maintenance needs of their vehicle. In addition, the Service Advisor sells maintenance services and organizes the work schedule while ensuring quality customer service.
Main responsibilities - you will:
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival and obtain information about their car;
- Open and close work orders;
- Transmit the correct information to the shop technician responsible for the vehicle;
- Communicate with the customer throughout the process to inform them of the progress of the work being done on their vehicle;
- Explain the nature of the work performed and all costs to the customer;
- Advise customers on the care of their vehicle and stress the importance of maintaining it according to the manufacturer's specifications;
- Establish a relationship of trust with customers;
- Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction;
- Carry out any other related duties as required and requested by management.
Requirements:
- You have the right attitude, we will train you;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Ability to suggest, advise and sell additional services to customers;
- Positive and smiling attitude;
- Patient, calm and team player;
- Mechanical knowledge (an asset);
- Computer skills and knowledge of SERTI software (an asset);
- Bilingualism;
- Valid driver's licence.
