Heavy Vehicles Mechanic (4-day evening shift)

We're currently looking for 2 Heavy Vehicles Mechanics: evening shift, 4 days per week, from Monday to Thursday, from 2:30 to 12:45 p.m.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers in accordance with the work order and schedule established by the supervisor;
- Carry out an inspection on each truck or trailer repaired, to ensure that there are no other defects;
- May help dismantle and overhaul engines and other major units;
- Perform any other related duties that may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 2+ years of experience in diesel mechanics;
- High School Diploma;
- Diploma in diesel mechanics;
- P.E.P. card (an asset);
- Cummins, Allison or other training (an asset);
- Class 5 driver's licence.

Other:

- Must be dynamic, punctual and a team player;
- Must provide toolbox and tools upon hiring. All specialized tools are available on site.
