Heavy Vehicles Mechanic - day shift

We're currently looking for heavy-duty truck Mechanics: day shift, 5 days per week, from Monday to Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers in accordance with the work order and schedule established by the supervisor;
- Inspect each truck or trailer repaired to ensure there are no other defects;
- May assist in dismantling and overhauling engines and other major units;
- Perform any other related duties that may be assigned.

SKILLS:

- 2 years of experience in diesel mechanics;
- P.E.P. card (asset);
- Cummins, Allison or other training (an asset);
- Class 5 driver's licence;
- High School Diploma;
- Diploma in heavy vehicles mechanics. Equivalencies may be granted to candidates with relevant years of experience;
- Dynamic, punctual and team player;
- Possession of a toolbox and tools upon hiring.
