Heavy Vehicles Mechanic - evening shift

We're currently looking for Heavy Vehicles Mechanics: evening shift, 4 days per week, from Monday to Thursday, from 3pm to 1:30am.

You will receive an evening premium equivalent to $3 per hour.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers in accordance with the work order and schedule established by your supervisor;
- Inspect each truck repaired to ensure there are no other defects;
- May assist in dismantling and overhauling engines and other major units;
- Perform any other related duties that may be assigned.

SKILLS:

- 2+ years of experience in diesel mechanics;
- P.E.P. card (an asset);
- Cummins, Allison or other training (an asset);
- Class 5 driver's licence;
- High School Diploma;
- Diploma in heavy vehicle mechanics. Equivalencies may be granted to candidates with relevant years of experience;
- Dynamic, punctual and team player;
- Possession of toolbox and tools upon hiring.
