Main responsibilities:
- Reconcile cash registers and record daily deposits;
- Account for vehicle sales contracts;
- Transmit sales documents to financial institutions for disbursement;
- Make claims and follow up on sales programs;
- Make claims and follow up on electrical rebates;
- Prepare sales representatives' commissions;
- Account for used vehicle purchase invoices;
- Make warranty payments;
- Analyze and clean up inventory and receivables schedules;
- Prepare statistics for monthly financial statements;
- Prepare various accounting analyses as required.
Required qualifications and skills:
- Degree in accounting, finance or related field;
- Experience in accounting, specially for car sales;
- Strong understanding of the full accounting cycle and monthly closing processes;
- Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel;
- Knowledge of SERTI software (an asset);
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a part of team.
