Journeyman Mechanic

Hyundai Châteauguay is looking for an experienced Journeyman Automotive Technician to join our team!

Depending on experience and specialties, the Technician will be called upon to perform various maintenance and repair work on customers' vehicles:

- Observe the functioning of engines in operation or in breakdown;
- Test the vehicles on the road;
- Identify the causes of defects or malfunctions and make diagnoses;
- Repair or replace defective components or parts using hand or power tools;
- Test and adjust components to specifications to ensure proper operation;
- Completes reports to record defects and work performed.

Requirements:

- Experience in automotive mechanics;
- Valid Quebec driver's license;
- Attention to detail and keen sense of observation;
- Tooling;
- Bilingual;
- Good physical condition.
