Experienced Automotive Mechanic

A leader in the automotive field and recipient of numerous awards, our La Pérade Ford dealership is growing rapidly and is currently seeking an experienced Mechanic for a permanent daytime position.

Main responsibilities:

- Perform checks, inspections and repairs on complex systems (electrical, electronic, fuel injection, emission control, handling, etc.);
- Perform general mechanic duties;
- Perform pre-purchase checks;
- Advise customers on regular and periodic vehicle maintenance.

The main duties are listed above, but the incumbent may be assigned to other functions.

Job requirements:

- Experience with the repair and maintenance of gasoline and diesel engines and transmissions;
- DVS in automotive mechanics or relevant experience in a similar position;
- Valid driver's licence;
- Ability to work physically and as part of a team.

Working conditions:

- Daytime schedule Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m;
- Health, life and disability insurance;
- Ford training offered on site;
- Salary to be discussed according to experience, starting at $35 per hour;
- Possibility of signing bonus based on experience.
