Automotive Paint - Color Specialist

Job description:

We are a Montreal based company in the automotive refinish market, seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Automotive Paint Color Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting customers, sales team, and internal staff on application process of automotive refinish products and paints. The ideal candidate will ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This position requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively with team members while also demonstrating strong independent skills.

Duties:

- Collaborate with team members to provide technical support related to product application;
- Conduct research to match and develop automotive paint colors with the use of samples and software;
- Prepare automotive paint mixtures using paint formulas;
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to team members and customers;
- Assist in the development of training materials and presentations for live demonstrations with customers and team members;
- Participate in meetings, contributing ideas and feedback to enhance project outcomes;
- Travel within Quebec to provide live technical support to customers.

Skills:

- Extensive experience painting with Automotive paint;
- Extensive experience developing and matching automotive paint colors;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar software applications;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail;
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment;
- Able and willing to travel within Canada and USA.
