Specifically, the Tools, Fleet & Equipment Manager will:

 

  • Manage day-to-day operations related to tools, fleet, and equipment, including performance expectations, maintenance scheduling, and logistics of asset allocation.
  • Utilize the Milwaukee OneKey & Asana software for effective tracking, management, and reporting on tools and equipment across multiple project sites.
  • Oversee the fleet tracking, insurance, maintenance and inspections of all vehicles and trailers, ensuring performance and safety standards. Coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain availability.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams, logistics, and inventory control to ensure the timely and efficient delivery and availability of essential tools and equipment.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement comprehensive SOPs across tools, fleet, and equipment to ensure operational excellence and compliance with safety standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and site visits to verify adherence to SOPs, pinpoint areas for improvement, and ensure the effective use of assets.
  • Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team and the broader organization.
  • Carry out additional duties as needed to support the organization's objectives.

Education & Experience

 

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on tools, fleet, and equipment management.
  • At least 5 years of management or supervisory experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing and implementing SOPs for operational efficiency and safety.
  • Skilled in the use of Milwaukee OneKey, Stratus, Procore, Bluebeam, Asana, and Explorer Eclipse for effective management and collaboration.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office suite and capable of learning new software as required.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and site based activities to provide ease of communication with Project Teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to maintain effective working relationships across departments.

Compensation: $85,000 to $100,000/year+ 5% RRSP + 100% Employer-paid Extended Health & Dental benefits package + Life Insurance + LTD + Vehicle Allowance + Phone Allowance + Gas Card.
