Job description

This position is expected to start around May 2025 and continue through the Summer term (approximately August 2025) or into Fall 2025 if available and there is an opportunity to do so. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.
International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week in-person. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.
Tesla is seeking a highly motivated Program Coordinator to support our Business Generation and Sales teams in driving impactful event initiatives, activations, and special projects. The Program Coordinator will play a critical role in the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing events and activations that build brand awareness, generate leads, and foster strong community engagement. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
 

  • Coordinate logistics for in-person and virtual events, including site selection, vendor coordination, scheduling, and equipment needs
  • Assist in the setup, operation, and breakdown of events and activations, ensuring a seamless attendee experience
  • Support vehicle staging, signage placement, and branded displays to meet high standards for customer-facing initiatives
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, service, and operations teams to align goals and ensure consistent messaging across all activations
  • Collaborate with external partners and vendors to secure sponsorships, permits, and partnerships for larger initiatives
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met
  • Create and maintain detailed event trackers, timelines, and project documentation
  • Track key performance metrics for events and activations, providing post-event recaps and insights to inform future strategies
  • Act as an on-site brand ambassador, engaging with attendees and providing product knowledge to create meaningful experiences
  • Manage feedback collection from event attendees and incorporate insights into future activations.
  • Support large-scale, special projects such as vehicle deliveries, product launches, and corporate partnerships
  • Assist with pop-up activations, influencer events, and internal team-building initiatives


Requirements
 

  • Experience in program coordination, event planning, or project management, ideally in marketing or customer experience roles
  • Impeccable organizational skills and acute attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable delivering presentations and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong ability to work in a complex, fast-paced environment and handle last-minute changes
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience in Adobe Suite is a bonus but not required
  • Flexibility to travel and support activations during non-standard work hours, including evenings and weekends
