Your Key Responsibilities
• Working alongside and taking direction from the Journeyman Millwright on site 
• Perform routine maintenance work on industrial machinery. 
• Able to use/learn to use measuring instruments, crane, and forklift as required 
• Read drawings and communicate problems to Journeyman Millwright 
• Welding and fabrication projects as required 
• Ability to work unsupervised to a high standard and to deadlines 
• Troubleshoot machine irregularities and breakdowns. 
• Identify and or repair/replace defective machine parts and equipment. 
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on industrial equipment as scheduled. 
• Ability and/or knowledge for heavy rigging and machinery moving. 
• Work within company health and safety policies, practices and standards. 
• Complete the Apprenticeship for the associated discipline and maintain the high standards as required under the Apprenticeship Training Standard 

Your Qualifications
• Education: Grade 12 diploma 
• Experience: Demonstrated competency all facets of cell/department operations and high level of mechanical aptitude and/or hold certification in skills related to associated discipline. 
• Skills: Knowledge of Schaeffler production and quality systems. Ability to work unsupervised to a high standard and to deadlines. Troubleshoot machine irregularities and breakdowns. 
• Enrolled in the Industrial Maintenance Millwright 433A program.
