Here's what you'll deliver:
 

  • Be the point of contact for management for all receiving and reconciliation processes and oversee receivers within the department
  • Responsible for receiving inbound shipments from dealership vendors. Shipments will include: Both Wholesale Shipments as well as Service Department Shipments for dealerships. (Honda Canada, Ford of Canada, etc.)
  • Unpack and reconcile both inbound shipments against vendor manifests to ensure accuracy.
  • Separate Wholesale parts customer orders) & Service parts (for dealership orders)
  • Input all inbound shipments into CDK to complete the receiving process.
  • Wholesale Orders: Begin pick and pack process by filling dealer generated orders against inbound shipments.
  • Service / Stock Orders: Organize and prepare shipment to be sent to corresponding dealership
  • Perform daily cycle counts on in-house inventory based on cycle count schedule
  • Evaluate all work performed to ensure it is thorough, accurate, and completed in a timely fashion.
  • Ability to execute tasks and work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times.
  • Comply with all company policies, standards and procedures.
  • Other duties as required by management.


What you need to succeed:
 

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous receiving experience working within a multi-person team
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service and/or cashier experience is required.
  • Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to obtain a forklift operator's licence at a later date.
  • An aptitude for arithmetic, an ability to read catalogues and technical materials, and legible handwriting are all essential skills.
  • Familiarity with the function of automobile parts, including ability to judge whether or not parts are interchangeable.
  • Ability to navigate and utilize computers at an advanced level.
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to exhibit professionalism with a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule.

***This compensation range will be based on knowledge and experience.***

Job Type: Permanent - Full Time
Compensation: $29.00 per hour
