Responsible for dispatching and tracking scheduled delivery activities to ensure a timely process and flow of materials. Schedules the movement of all inbound and outbound goods and services with shipping, receiving, security and other departments as necessary.

What are your responsibilities as a Dispatcher?
- Set up and monitor delivery driver routes throughout the day.
- Maintain communications with delivery drivers/sales reps throughout the day to actively answer questions that arise and aid in route problem-solving.
- Set up warehouse staff with work order pulls and monitor the fulfillment queues to ensure all orders are fulfilled daily.
- Communicate with warehouse and sales rep staff throughout the day to actively answer questions and aid in work order problem-solving.
- Run system reports to aid in metric monitoring.
- Assist with fleet maintenance scheduling;
- Assist in Customer Pick-up operations.
- Assist in various warehouse tasks & perform other duties as assigned.
What is the profile we are looking for?
- Minimum one (1) year driving and dispatcher experience,
- Possess a valid G driver's license and safe driving record,
- Strong abilities with computers, GPS and dispatch route systems.
- Ability to quickly learn and become proficient with the Company's warehouse and delivery methods, techniques, and procedures,
- Possess the ability to perform basic math calculations, effectively communicate with customers/peers/supervisors, and proficiently use smartphone and/or tablet, and
- Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.
Job Requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: General knowledge and ability to perform relatively simple work using computers and systems. Must be familiar with the company's products and delivery methods. Must be able to work with others.
Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment: This position requires individuals to constantly be on their feet expect when operating machinery. Sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during working hours. Is subject to frequent interruptions. Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and withstand heights of 15-35 feet. Must be able to lift at least 50-75 lbs.
Working Conditions: Sedentary work. Frequent sitting. Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Occasionally, working on the road.
