Summary of Position
Abalone Construction is a privately owned company with over 40 years specializing in Industrial and Commercial civil construction. We offer construction services in a variety of markets including Infrastructure, Roadbuilding, and Land Development.
The Fuel and Lube technician will be mechanically inclined and responsible for light maintenance on our trucks and heavy equipment. 

Role and Responsibilities
Fuel and grease all equipment daily, In accordance with the Abalone refueling safe operating procedures.
Complete daily pre trip inspection to ensure service/lube truck is safe and ready for use.
Preform technical inspections of trucks and equipment and report any deficiencies to the maintenance department or supervisors.
Preform basic PM services on equipment, including oil changes, filter replacements, and other routine maintenance procedures.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all services performed on each piece of equipment.
Work closely with mechanics and other members of the maintenance crew as required.
Comply with all safety standards.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Carry out duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Training and Education
Preferred. 1 year experience working in a maintenance repair shop. 

Class 5 with Air brakes endorsement 

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 

Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. unaided

Working Conditions
Fuel and Lube Technicians will be working outside in all weather conditions. They must be able to spend long periods walking/standing/kneeling on the job site. They must be willing to commit to 50 + hours per week at various project locations. Typical shifts are 7:00am - 5:30pm.
