Automotive Mechanic

Job description:

Automanie is a family-run business that has been established on rue Notre-Dame in Repentigny for over 45 years. We are currently looking for an automotive technician with at least 3 years' experience to join our dynamic team. This position is an excellent opportunity for anyone with a passion for the automotive industry and a desire to develop their skills in a human-sized company.

Your responsibilities:

- Diagnose mechanical problems on a variety of vehicles, including cars, SUVs and light trucks;
- Repair various systems such as brakes, steering, suspension and electrical;
- Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid changes);
- Identify and order parts needed for repairs;
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to solve electronic problems.

Desired profile:

- 3 years or more experience in automotive mechanics;
- Valid Canadian work permit;
- Valid driver's license;
- Ability to work independently while integrating easily into a team;
- Ability to perform precise diagnostics and solve mechanical problems;
- Desired qualities: autonomy, reliability, efficiency, and concern for a job well done.

Conditions:

- 37.5 hours per week;
- Type of position: permanent full-time;
- Location: on-site, in Repentigny;
