Your role:

The Service Advisor is responsible for welcoming clients, gathering necessary information to identify and define their vehicle’s repair and maintenance needs, selling maintenance services, and ensuring follow-ups while maintaining high-quality customer service.

Client-related tasks:

- Greet clients warmly upon arrival and gather information about their vehicle
- Advise clients on proper car maintenance
- Schedule appointments for maintenance services
- Sell lubrication services, safety inspections, and other required maintenance services
- Prepare a detailed and accurate estimate of labor and parts costs
- Monitor work progress throughout the day, communicate any changes regarding estimates or deadlines to clients, explain costs and required time, and obtain authorization before proceeding with additional repairs
- Review repair orders to ensure all work is completed, additional repairs are documented, and approvals are recorded. Close repair orders according to company standards

Your profile:

- Since we serve a bilingual clientele, fluency in both English and French is required
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role at an automotive dealership
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently
- Skilled in prioritization and thorough follow-ups
- Proficiency in computer systems (knowledge of SDS [Serti] software is a plus)
