Your area of expertise:
A Sales Accounting Clerk is responsible for recording transactions and managing documents related to vehicle sales. This includes, among other things, verifying and organizing sales contracts, processing financing documents, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The role requires attention to detail and a solid understanding of dealership operations.
What motivates you every day?
- Recording transaction sales in accounting
- Calculating and recording sales commissions
- Reconciling financial obligations related to the purchase and sale of vehicles
- Managing inventory accounting
- Communicating with the sales department to ensure the accuracy of records
- Filing, electronic filing, scanning, and tracking of documents
- Assisting the controller with various requests (internal and external audits)
What are the requirements?
- At least 1 year of experience as a sales clerk in an automotive dealership position
- Experience with CDK and Desk-it software is considered an asset
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word)
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to interact with internal clients, key suppliers, and employees
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills, managing multiple priorities, executing a variety of tasks, and meeting required deadlines
- Proficiency in English is considered an asset
