Permanent / Brossard or Montreal / Remote Work
Start Date: As soon as possible
Working Hours: Schedules vary based on needs but may include: 10 AM to 6 PM, 11 AM to 7 PM, or noon to 8 PM.

Mechanical Warranty Claims Adjuster
The warranty claims adjuster is responsible for handling and following up on claims for mechanical warranty and extended maintenance insurance policies sold across Canada. The role involves managing a variable volume of new claims while adhering to company standards.
Claims Processing:
- Manage the entire mechanical warranty claims process, including assigning inspectors when necessary. Justify to clients any claims not covered by the warranty.
- Communicate decisions to claimants.
- If applicable, calculate payments and enter them into the system while considering the active contract.
- Communicate with clients in writing using standard letters, which can be modified depending on the situation.
- Discuss complex or problematic cases with a supervisor.
- Negotiate with clients regarding overpayments to ensure full reimbursement to the company.
Customer Service:
- Develop and maintain business relationships with clients and colleagues in regional offices.
- Adapt positively to change and handle any additional tasks as assigned.
- Provide clear and professional communication while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to coverage policies.
Your Profile:
- College diploma (DEC) or vocational diploma (DEP) in the automotive industry
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive industry
- Excellent proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written, due to frequent interactions with both English- and French-speaking clients across Canada
- Experience with recreational vehicles (RVs, snowmobiles, motorcycles, etc.) is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and telephone communication skills (customer-oriented approach)
- Proven organizational and negotiation skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong internet navigation skills
