Automotive Validation Technician / Remote Starter Installer

Are you interested in working on cutting-edge vehicle software and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions? If the answer is yes, we want to hear from you! We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Validation Technician / Remote Starter Installer to join our Montreal team.

In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the validation of our new products, ensuring quality from testing and installation to the collection and analysis of vehicle CAN bus data.

Your mission:
- Install various 12-volt systems in different types of vehicles, including remote starters and GPS telematics systems
- Support the development of new products and resolve issues related to current products
- Document test results manually and automatically
- Review and correct installation guides before publication
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering test processes
- Collaborate with other engineering functions as well as the technical support team
- Develop strong relationships with local car dealerships

You are the person we are looking for if you have:
- Minimum 3 years experience installing remote starters, stereo systems, and vehicle security systems
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in the use of vehicle diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and French
- A vocational studies diploma (DEP) or college diploma (DEC/ADC) in an appropriate discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- A valid driver's license
- Certification from the Mobile Electronics Certification Program (MECP) is an asset
