Valet Attendants welcome and create the first impression upon guest arrival. This may include assisting the passengers during the loading and unloading process. Their primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently relocate guest automobiles to designated parking locations. This role requires precise communication and coordination with the hotel guest services and knowledge of daily events.
The hourly pay-rate for this position is $17.20 with the opportunity to earn additional income through tips.

Overall Function:
The Valet Attendant is responsible for creating a positive first and last impression for guests arriving and departing from the hotel. You will actively contribute to the seamless operation of the front office, ensuring guests feel welcome and their vehicles are handled with care.
Main Duties:
Customer Service:
• Greet guests with professionalism and courtesy upon their arrival.
• Provide efficient and safe valet services for guests' vehicles.
• Assist guests with information about local attractions and hotel services.
Operational:
• Receive and park guests' vehicles in a safe and organized manner.
• Retrieve guests' vehicles promptly and accurately upon request.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the valet area as well as keeping the keys safe and organized.
Communication:
• Communicate effectively with guests and internal teams to ensure a coordinated and efficient valet service.
• Provide information about parking rates, policies, and hotel facilities.
Security and Safety:
• Ensure the security of guests' vehicles and report any concerns promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents.
Financial:
• Collect valet parking fees and accurately record transactions.
• Assist in managing valet parking revenue and related financial details.
Other Duties:
• Stay informed about hotel events, promotions, and guest services.
• Adapt to changes in operational tasks as dictated by hotel policies and guest needs.
• Adhere to the hotel's rules and regulations, attending training sessions as required.
Working Conditions:
• This role involves standing for extended periods and occasional outdoor work.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality management is a plus.
• Proven experience as a valet attendant or in a similar role
• Excellent customer service skills with a strong ability to resolve issues effectively.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
• Proficient in using valet management software and basic computer applications.
• Valid Ontario driver's license and clean driving record/abstract.
