Maderra Personnel is currently seeking qualified individuals for the position of Coordinator, RAM (Reliability, Availability and Maintainability)in Soldiers Pond, NL.

Responsibilities:

 

  • This position will provide Operations Support for the Labrador Island Link (LIL) as it relates to the Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) performance requirements associated with the Labrador Island Link (LIL).
  • The successful Proponent will provide an individual, qualified resource who will work embedded with the management team at Soldiers Pond in a key role to lead the tracking of the RAM requirements and provide support on the various components associated with RAM.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the requirements as outlined in the RAM performance guarantee are tracked and followed by Contractor during the performance guarantee period.
  • Supports oversight and coordination of other contractors, as required.
  • Ensure matrices are established, communicated and followed to meet the requirements of the RAM.
  • Work with Operations and Assets team to ensure preventative and corrective maintenance activities are optimized and meet requirements of RAM.
  • Ensures work is performed with a focus on safety, the environment, quality, cost, schedule, productivity, effectiveness, and reports to Senior Manager HVDC Transmission on work execution metrics.
  • Works closely with Management, Operations, Engineering and Commercial team to ensure resources are dispatched efficiently and appropriately to meet RAM requirements.
  • Ensure all deficiencies arising during the RAM period are appropriately tagged, prioritized and corrected efficiently.
  • Supports contract development and coordination of Operations and Maintenance Contractors as required in meeting RAM requirements.
  • Receives direction form Senior Manager, HVDC Transmission


Requirements:

 

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, three (3) year electrical or electronic Technology program. A combination of relevant education and experience may also be accepted.
  • Experience working with an electrical utility.
  • Preferred candidates shall have a high degree of demonstrated technical knowledge for the assets assigned.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of RAM protocols and execution would be an asset.
  • Incumbents shall work in accordance with the Health and Safety Policies & Procedures and strive to eliminate any potential risk which could result in personal injury or occupational illness
