Shop Foreman

Mercedes-Benz West Island, a proud member of the Dilawri Group of Companies, is looking for a candidate to fill a Shop Foreman position.

Your main duties will be to ensure the appropriate work distribution to the Technicians, the workshop’s profitability as well as the quality of the work done. This management position involves you directly with customer satisfaction.

The person we are looking for should be very punctual, self-reliant and proactive. The candidate should also possess a strong leadership and an ability to multitask.

Skills:

- Expertise in automotive mechanics with Mercedes-Benz products and/or other equivalent high-end products;
- Ability to identify, take charge and solve problems;
- Ability to mobilize a team;
- Ability to adapt and keep yourself up to date on Mercedes-Benz products to meet requirements;
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards;
- Ability to build relationships with Mercedes-Benz Canada people to facilitate problem solving;
- Expertise in electricity, electronics and vehicle diagnostics;
- Knowledge of Mercedes-Benz diagnostic tools (an asset).

Required profile:

- Dynamic and smiling;
- Professional;
- Excellent communication skills.

Job requirements:

- Experience with Mercedes-Benz products (an asset);
- Staff management experience;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (our Mechanics are mostly English speaking);
- Experience in customer service;
- Experience as a Shop Foreman or equivalent.
