Job description
Brief job description:
- Greet customers and gather information required to identify and define customers' vehicle repair and maintenance needs;
- Sell maintenance services and organize work schedules while ensuring quality customer service;
- Explain to customers the nature of the work performed and all related costs;
- Advise customers on how to care for their vehicle and stress the importance of maintaining it according to the manufacturer's technical specifications;
- Be responsible for telephone, e-mail and text message inquiries regarding appointments and work in progress;
- Accurately record any problems with the customer's car on the repair order;
- Distribute tasks to technicians;
- Prepare a detailed and accurate estimate of the cost of labor and parts;
- Check progress of work throughout the day;
- Check the extent of warranty coverage on the vehicle to be repaired before starting work;
- Review repair orders to ensure work is completed and additional repairs and authorization are recorded;
- Be active in the quality control process to avoid returns to the shop.
Schedule:
- Monday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m;
- Tuesday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m;
- Wednesday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m;
- Thursday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m;
- Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
