Job description
Reporting to the Light Vehicles Repair Department's Supervisor, the role of the Service Advisor consists mainly in listening to and analyzing customer needs, as well as explaining the necessary repairs.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Scheduling appointments and greeting customers;
- Handle telephone calls, e-mails, reports and customer requests;
- Explain to customers the nature of the maintenance or repair work to be carried out;
- Prepare repair orders for vehicles;
- Close work orders;
- Order parts related to work to be performed on work orders and make warranty claims as required;
- Ensure proper inventory management;
- Miscellaneous data entry;
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the department;
- Maintain good customer relations.
