Controller

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our team.

Montréal Mitsubishi is part of the Couture Group, which currently comprises 17 dealerships in various regions of Quebec.

The Financial Controller will be responsible for the accounting and financial operations of the dealership, working closely with the existing team and the Group's Assistant General Controller.

Main duties:

- Perform the complete accounting cycle, bank reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger and auxiliary account verification;
- Issue government remittances
- Produce monthly financial statements and financial performance analysis;
- Develop control systems for efficient operation of the business;
- Reconcile accounts;
- Prepare year-end file for external auditors;
- Support the team in day-to-day operations;
- Perform all other related tasks.

Requirements:

- University Degree in accounting or a College Diploma in administrative techniques with significant experience. Experience in a car dealership would be a major asset;
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to question work methods and processes;
- Excellent command of Excel;
- Good knowledge of computer systems, ideally Serti.
- Organized, structured and rigorous;
- Proactive, determined and ethical attitude.
