Controller

Groupe Lauzon is looking for a Controller for its Porsche Lauzon dealership. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Accounting, the Controller will oversee a team of two people.

The ideal candidate must have solid experience with the full accounting cycle and strong analytical skills. They should also be an effective communicator to implement and improve processes across various departments.

Responsibilities:

- Perform bank reconciliation and liquidity monitoring
- Monitor customer and manufacturer accounts receivable on a monthly basis
- Ensure monthly financial statements are produced within required deadlines
- Collaborate with all departments to support accounting tasks and inquiries
- Conduct weekly and monthly schedule tracking and analysis
- Generate analytical reports for management
- Assist with the implementation of various projects
- Participate in the physical inventory process for parts and reconcile inventory records
- Ensure accuracy in sales files
- Perform any other tasks as needed by the department

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Controller in an automotive dealership
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of SERTI is an asset
- Strong management, communication, and teamwork skills
