Apprentice or Journeyman Mechanic - HET/Automotive (TGC-OH Edm)

The Gear Centre Group, a leading provider of powertrain parts and service for the off highway, heavy truck and automotive industries, is currently recruiting for a full time Apprentice Mechanic for our Off Highway Division located in Edmonton, Alberta. 

Apprentice Mechanic in the following trades:

Transmission Technician/Rebuilder

Heavy Equipment Technician (HET)

Heavy Duty Mechanic

Truck and Transport Mechanic

Diesel Engine Mechanic

Automotive Service Technician

 

• Previous experience with powershift, automatic and/or manual transmissions, as well as differentials and planetary axles would be considered an asset
• Knowledge of ZF, Dana (Clark), Funk, AxleTech (Rockwell) and/or Allison powertrain components would be considered an asset
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable abstract
• Must have your own tools
