Job description

Tesla Toronto Automation designs and builds advanced automated equipment to support the assembly of Tesla products globally. We are seeking a talented Application Support Analyst to support and enhance our existing ERP and WMS systems while playing a pivotal role in migrating to and integrating new ERP software.
This role involves the successful implementation, management, and support of Tesla's software services in production environments, ensuring they meet quality, security, and compliance standards. The analyst will also document processes for the ongoing support and maintenance of these systems.

At Tesla Toronto Automation, we use a blend of custom-developed software and off-the-shelf solutions to manage procurement, manufacturing, inventory tracking, and dispatching across multiple locations.

Responsibilities
 

  • Collaborate with external development teams to ensure seamless integration of new ERP software
  • Integrate and maintain software modules designed to optimize critical company processes
  • Ensure a clean and tested codebase for long-term system stability
  • Provide support to critical Tesla applications, ensuring they meet the needs of a diverse user base
  • Proactively address and resolve operational issues, keeping services running smoothly
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to identify innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Design and improve database structures, user interfaces, queries, and reports to enhance system performance


Requirements
 

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience administering or developing for a manufacturing ERP system
  • Proficiency in C#/.NET, Angular, and MS SQL, with a solid understanding of software architecture
  • Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture, Microservices, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) is highly desirable
  • Additional experience with SQL, T-SQL, Entity Framework, modern web development, DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Kubernetes), and message bus systems (e.g., Kafka) is a bonus
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and visual presentation abilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and the drive to manage projects in a dynamic environment
