The Photographer & Social Media Coordinator plays a key role in enhancing the dealership's online presence and brand image. This position is responsible for capturing high-quality images and videos of vehicles, events, and dealership activities while managing and growing the dealership's social media platforms. The goal is to create engaging content that drives customer interest, builds brand awareness, and promotes dealership services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Capture high-quality photos and videos of new and pre-owned inventory for online listings and marketing materials
- Ensure vehicles are presented in the best possible light, following dealership and manufacturer standards
- Edit and enhance photos/videos to maintain a professional and appealing look
- Post engaging content, including photos, videos, promotions, and behind-the-scenes dealership moments
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor trends and adjust strategies to improve engagement and reach
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in photography and videography, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Proficiency in photo and video editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar).
- Familiarity with social media management tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry is an asset but not required.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to safely maneuver vehicles for staging and photography
- Clean driving record
