This is a full-time position (40 hours) Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm. Schedule may vary according to need.

Salary starts at $27 per hour. Salary may be negotiated based on experience.

Duties under the direction of the Service Center Manager:

- Ensure that all mechanical repairs and maintenance are carried out in accordance with manufacturer and/or company specifications and guidelines;
- Provide safe and reliable vehicles after repairs;
- Perform routine and annual inspections as required by the province;
- Read and interpret diagnostic test results, using available diagnostic tools and equipment;
- Lift trucks, buses and heavy equipment with hydraulic jacks or load lifters;
- Lift parts or tools up to 40 lbs;
- Inspect braking systems, steering systems, transmissions, engines and other vehicle parts;
- Perform routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries and fluids, and lubricating equipment and parts;
- Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting repair orders to accurately reflect steps and parts used;
- Follow parts and inventory tracking procedures;
- Use various manufacturers' websites, software and diagnostic tools;
- Replace tires of all sizes from 14“ to 22.5”;
- Participate in company, manufacturer and industry training;
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, and adhere to uniform and equipment standards;
- Perform a variety of related tasks as required.
