Job description :

As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the financial management of several companies, including construction project management and several property management companies. Your role will be essential in ensuring the company's sound financial health through rigorous financial management and clear communication with management teams.

Responsibilities :

- Portfolio management: Responsible for two high-volume companies and management of 5 property management companies;
- Construction project management: Ensure financial and budgetary follow-up;
- Accounting and cash flow management;
- Ensure accuracy of accounting entries;
- Enter invoices and manage accounts receivable;
- Enter invoices and manage accounts payable;
- Ensure that sales files are posted promptly;
- Reconciliations: Perform bank and credit card reconciliations;
- Payroll: Perform payroll with Nethris software;
- Government remittances: Carry out monthly remittances (DAS, tax returns, acompt, etc.);
- Financial statements: Produce and explain interim financial statements to managers;
- Financial analysis and reports: Prepare GL analyses at the request of the accounting firm and manage monthly reports for the mechanics' parity committee;
- Inter-company entries: Perform inter-company accounting entries;
- Team management: Supervise and manage an accounting team;
- Other tasks: Perform all other usual administrative and accounting tasks.

Profile:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting;
- Experience in the automotive industry (dealership) an asset;
- Knowledge of the complete accounting cycle;
- Experience with Serti / SDS Win software an asset;
- Experience in employee management;
- College and/or university diploma in accounting;
- Bilingual (an asset).
